Written Promotional Exams for Fire and Police Agencies and Departments
We offer written promotional exams specifically developed for your agency or department. Working with your department’s administrative team we will collectively choose the reading list appropriate for that rank/position and agency or department. The reading list can include department policies and procedures, local/state laws, material from industry standard textbooks, etc. All test questions will directly reflect the content of the reading materials selected.
Written Exams
- Exams will be custom-built and designed specifically for each rank/position
- Typically, the exams are 80 to 100 questions, to be determined by the agency or department
- A representative from Parow Consulting and Associates will proctor all exams
- Printing of exams will be done by us
- Scoring and validation of each exam will be done and results sent to the appropriate person within five business day. Provisions in union contracts may alter this timeline and will be discussed before the exam is given
